Situated in Shangri-La, Yunnan Province of China, Songtsam Hotel sits at the foot of Songtsam Lama temple, one of the largest Lama temple outside of Tibet. Refurbished from a traditional Tibetan residence, the boutique hotel has 22 rooms and suites that combine Tibetan ethnic style with modern comforts.

Songtsam Hotel is located about 7 km from the airport and the hotel provides complimentary transfers from the airport. Shangri-La is accessible by a short 50 min flight from Kunming and we can assist in flight reservations.

Accommodation
There are 3 luxury suites and 19 guestrooms, of which 12 have balconies that face Lamu Ygcuo Lake and grassland. All rooms feature local handcrafted furnishings, classic Tibetan carpets and fabrics. Each suite features an extra living space with lounging sofas and casual furnishing.
